Castlefest Fantasy festival 2026 – Keukenhof

Imagine yourself in a completely different world at Castlefest, the Fantasy festival of the Netherlands. At the beginning of August, the Keukenhof Castle Gardens turned into a party for young and old, where, as soon as you pass through the gates, you enter a different world. Castlefest is a total experience with lots of music, fantasy writers, stylish catering, medieval crafts and a large market with everything the Fantasy lover is looking for. A large number of bands perform on the various festival stages, from Pagan Folk to World music, from Medieval Rock to Indie. In short, something for every music lover! Castlefest is characterized by its special atmosphere. This means that regular visitors look forward to the next edition a year in advance. It creates a feeling where you seem to be in a completely different world for a few days and which leaves you in a daze and homesick for the festival in the weeks that follow. The Castlefest feeling cannot be properly described, but something you have to experience for yourself. The annual highlight of the festival is the Wickerman Burning. With visitors, exhibitors, caterers and organizations, you can prepare for the moment when the Wickerman is lit. The energy that is released at that moment is a special experience that you should not miss. Castlefest takes place from July 30 to August 2, 2026 at Keukenhof Castle in Lisse. When the market closes, everyone can still hang around the main stage. To get to Castlefest by train, travel to Hillegom railway station. There is a shuttle bus in front of the station that will take you to Castlefest. You must buy a ticket for this shuttle bus. This ticket costs €6.00 ​​for a return.
