January 1, 2027 – 10:00 – 4:00 PM Naturally, you start a New Year on the beach in the Netherlands. Take a dip in the sea water during the traditional New Year's dive or come and watch the heroes. Like every year, there are many locations by the sea where you can officially do or watch the New Year's dive. Below is an overview of the locations and times. The New Year's Dive in Noordwijk starts at 1:00 PM near the lighthouse at beach pavilion De Zeemeeuw. You can register from 11.30 am on the beach in front of the Seagull. There is a maximum of 1,000 divers. The costs are 2 euros per person (Note: no card, only cash). On January 1, you can easily park in Noordwijk. We recommend parking along the boulevard or in the Wantveld car park. One of the best dives is at Langevelderslag beach between Zandvoort and Noordwijk. The New Year's dive at Langevelderslag is a big party every year. Every year the organization manages to create a unique atmosphere that is somewhat reminiscent of the Eleven Cities atmosphere. Many nice stalls with cake & pastries, the cool beats of the Nederzandt DJ and great live music ensure that everyone has a good time. Especially for the less early birds, the dive at Nederzandt starts on January 1 at 3:00 PM (meet at 2:45 PM on the beach). So a hangover is no excuse, because you can sleep in! Costs: €5 (registration from 11:30 am). Parking is available in the Langevelderslag car park.
