Youth dance – SALLY Dance Company Maastricht Woest is a performance about turbulent fits of rage. About the powerless feeling you can have when everything in your life changes because your parents split up. The boy in Woest is furious about this! He takes it out on everything and everyone. But beneath his anger lies a deeper desire: in his idiosyncratic world he tries playfully and with dynamic, virtuoso dance to let everything be as it was: 'Your heart is pounding in your throat, your legs are shaking and you are turning red. It bubbles deep inside and is unstoppable. It has to come out... KWAAAAAAK... Be careful, the tantrum is loose!' After the performance, SALLY organizes a (free) dance workshop on stage. All children are welcome to join SALLY and show their 'fiercest' dance. SALLY wants to show more than just dance. She is convinced that she can make the world a better place with dance.
